Vickie Lynn Potter, 64, of Waynesboro VA, went to be with her Lord on May 21, 2021. She was surrounded by her family during her peaceful homecoming.
Vickie loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking her mother's recipes for her family. She loved her animals as well.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Alice Louise Sensabaugh Potter
She is survived by her two children, son Jason Nelson (wife Erin) and daughter Heather Miller (husband Kevin); her five grandchildren, Haily (fiance Devon McManaway), Brayden, Kennedi, Kaylie and Buck; her great grandson Rowen McManaway; and her two sisters Faye Taylor (husband Tom) and Connie Lawhorn of Henderson, Nevada.
A private graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10 a.m.
Ms. Potter's family would like to extend a warm thank you to the Intrepid Hospice Staunton team for the care she received during her last days.
